Endemic Area Residents Are Unaware of Specific Risk

Among residents in an area of Guatemala endemic for Chagas disease, knowledge of both the disease and its mode of transmission are lacking, a survey found.

In the southeastern region of Guatemala, Chagas disease is a serious public health problem, noted N.A.
