Therefore, in vitro interactions between blood clotting cascade proteins, lymphocytes (total population, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils), platelets, and red blood cells and polyethylene glycol (PEG) conjugated bovine hemoglobin (PEG-bHb) were examined.
