Recombinant Interferon Provides B Cell Help

Recombinant interferon-gamma restored anti-donor humoral response in donor-specific blood transfusion-treated recipient animals.

R. Josein and colleagues induced donor-specific tolerance to heart allograft in adult Lewis rats by pregraft donor-specific blood transfusion (DST) ("Recombinant IFN-gamma Abrogates Allograft Tolerance Induced by Donor-Specific Blood Transfusion by Restoring Alloantibody Production," European Journal of Immunology, January 1999;29(1):317-326).
