"Measurement of Steroid Sulfatase in Cancer Patients' Serum."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the Sixth International Congress on Hormones and Cancer, held September 5-9, 1999, in Jerusalem, Israel, "Introduction: Recently steroid sulfatase (STS) in estrogen-dependent cancers [was] reported. It is not unreasonable to expect this abundant STS discharge into serum. We developed a sandwich ELISA to measure STS in human serum and we measured STS in cancer patients' serum.
