Antonio Gentil Martins reported on eight patients with this rare syndrome, with special emphasis on the two patients who were more recently treated. The report, titled "The Haemorrhagic Haemangioma Syndrome (Kasabach and Merritt)," was presented at the International Society of Pediatric Oncology and American Society for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Joint Meeting, held September 13-18, 1999, in Montreal, Canada.
