Blood Cell Transplant Results in Rapid Hematologic Recovery

While allogeneic blood cell transplantation resulted in quicker hematologic recovery than did bone marrow transplantation, it was associated with a higher rate of chronic graft-versus-host disease in a study of leukemia patients.
