Blood Marker Predicts Coronary Artery Disease Incidence and Severity

Scientists from San Diego State University, California, in collaboration with Medlyte Diagnostics, Inc., and the Naval Medical Center of San Diego, California, announced study results that might lead to a simple, inexpensive blood test for predicting the presence and extent of coronary artery disease (CAD).

The results were presented during the American Heart Association 73rd Scientific Sessions, held in New Orleans, during November 2000.
