Clinical Studies Further Validates Screening Test

American Biogenetic Sciences, Inc. (MABA) reports that three recent studies presented at international medical conferences provide promising data for additional clinical applications of its Thrombus Precursor Protein (TpPTM) test.

Overall, the studies illustrate that the TpP test's early detection of elevated levels of the thrombus precursor protein may result in the identification of patients suffering from blood clots. The clots could be indicative of a number of medical conditions ranging from heart attack to disorders of the blood system, including thrombophilias, a propensity for the blood to form dangerous clots.
