Dr. K. Honda and colleagues at Okayama University Medical School evaluated the efficacy of PEG-rHuMGDF for mobilizing peripheral blood progenitor cells (PBPCs) in a murine model.
This growth factor produced effective PBPC mobilization, either alone or in combination with recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (rhG-CSF), Honda and coauthors found.
