Blood-Comparable Results Obtained From Saliva Analysis

LifePoint, Inc., announced that it has been granted approval from the United States Patent Office for a patent entitled "Device for Detecting Analytes Related to Sample pH" that provides blood-comparable results from saliva analysis.

LifePoint, Inc., has previously developed and patented the capabilities to quickly, easily, and noninvasively collect saliva. This collection method, when used in conjunction with LifePoint's unique patented flow immunoassay, provides accurate, on-site, rapid quantifiable results. These results mirror the levels of a variety of blood components, including drugs at many concentrations.
