Oncosis reveals efficacy of disease-free stem cell transplant technology

"Delivery of a disease-free, autologous hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) transplant for cancer patients has been a goal of the cancer research community for many years," Manfred Koller, PhD, vice president, R&D and chief operating officer of Oncosis, told the 2002 Tandem Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) conference in Orlando, Florida.

"Patented photosis technology being developed by Oncosis delivers a substantially improved purging procedure, eliminating tumor cells and resulting in a disease-free product.
