Anthrogenesis Corp. announces license agreement

PharmaStem Therapeutics, Inc., and Anthrogenesis Corp. announced that they have entered into an agreement under which Anthrogenesis has obtained a license to PharmaStem's patent portfolio.

PharmaStem is the successor to Biocyte Corp., the pioneer in the development of umbilical cord and placental blood preservation and its therapeutic use.

John R. Haines, president and CEO of Anthrogenesis, stated: "We are very pleased about this license agreement with PharmaStem.
