Embryo cell stage controls the outcomes of adult vascular transplantation.
"We demonstrated that Flk-1(+) cells derived from mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells can differentiate into both endothelial cells (ECs) and mural cells (MCs) to suffice as vascular progenitor cells (VPCs).
