Antithymocyte globulin-based T-cell depletion reduces GVHD rate in multiple myeloma patients

Antithymocyte globulin-based T-cell depletion lowers the risk of graft-versus-host reactions in multiple myeloma patients undergoing stem cell transplantation.

Researchers in Germany examined the "toxicity and efficacy of in vivo T-cell depletion with anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG) as part of an intensified myeloablative conditioning regimen followed by allogeneic stem cell transplantation in patients with advanced multiple myeloma."
