Demyelinating Polyneuropathy

CIDP with a low response to therapy may have other underlying disease or cancer

Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy can have complications; low response to therapy may indicate osteosclerotic myeloma or antibodies to antimyelin associated glycoprotein.

According to a study from Italy, "Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) is frequently associated with monoclonal gammopathies of undetermined significance (MGUS), Waldenstrom disease, and osteosclerotic myeloma.
