Mediware awarded contracts for blood bank management systems

Mediware Information Systems, Inc., (MEDW) said it was awarded contracts by St. Louis, Missouri-based BJC HealthCare (BJC) for its suite of blood management systems, including Hemocare LifeLine (HCLL) transfusion management system and LifeTrak Donor Management System.

The systems will be installed at the 1350-bed Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJH) of the BJC regional healthcare system. The BJC regional healthcare system serves Illinois and Missouri.
