High-dose chemo with CD34+-APBSCT effective against nasal NK/T-cell lymphoma

High-dose chemotherapy with CD34+-APBSCT can be used to effectively treat nasal NK/T-cell lymphoma.

According to published research from Japan, the prognosis for patients with this malignancy "with cutaneous involvement especially is morbid despite intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy."

K. Koizumi and coauthors at Hokkaido University "treated a 52-yr-old Japanese woman with cutaneous dissemination of nasal NK/T-cell lymphoma."
