Award given for best presentation at thrombosis and hemostasis meeting

A scientific presentation by Bayer Biological Products (BP) was recognized as among the best at the recently held 48th annual meeting of the Society for Thrombosis and Hemostasis (Gesellschaft fuer Thrombose und Haemostaseforschung, or GTH).

The presentation, entitled "Inter-domain disulfide bridge in rFVIII selectively blocks A2- dissociation-dependent loss of FVIIIa activity while preserving sensitivity to inactivation by APC," received the Professor Landbeck award as the second-best abstract submitted to the meeting.

Klaus-Peter Radtke, senior staff scientist at Bayer BP, presented the research at a special symposium honoring the top 10 abstracts....
