According to recent research published in the journal Prostate Cancer and Prostatic Diseases, "This study investigated the hypothesis that, in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), upregulated estrogen receptors (ER) and the action of androgens differentially regulate expression of stromal growth factors.
