Diagnostics testing company names executive to head medical business

Ross, an 8-year veteran of the American Red Cross Biomedical Services, most recently served as senior vice president and chief operating officer.
Ross was responsible for 36 regional blood centers and nine testing laboratories serving almost 2,500 hospital customers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. He led strategic initiatives that increased sales and profitability of all key ARC product lines and improved the efficiency of its blood centers and national testing laboratories. These centers collect and distribute almost half of the U.S. blood supply.
