DaVita acquires three dialysis centers

DaVita, Inc., (DVA) announced that effective August 1, 2004, it acquired dialysis centers in California and Georgia serving approximately 220 patients.

The transactions include two centers located in Hemet and Mureitta, California. DaVita completed the acquisition through its affiliate, DaVita - Riverside, LLC, a joint venture co-owned by the physicians of Riverside County's Nephrology Associates Medical Group, Inc., (NAMG). Taher Khalil, MD, and Dae Young Roh, MD, of NAMG will serve as the medical directors for the Hemet and Murrieta centers, respectively.
