Judi R. Lum appointed CFO and VP of finance by stem cell-focused biotech company

StemCells, Inc. (STEM) announced the appointment of Judi R. Lum as chief financial officer and vice president of finance. George Koshy, who previously handled the senior financial duties in an interim capacity, will continue as StemCells' corporate controller.

Lum has 20 years of finance experience as CFO of Inhale Therapeutic Systems where she was responsible for the accounting, human resources and IT functions and participated in raising $75 million in public and private equity and established $15 million in debt financing. Prior to Inhale, she was with Soane Technologies, GenPharm International and Raychem Corporation.
