Company acquires four dialysis facilities

DaVita, Inc., (DVA), announced acquisitions covering four dialysis facilities that occurred during the fourth quarter.

DaVita acquired Downriver Centers, Inc., located in Allen Park, Michigan. Ram Prasad, MD, is the medical director of the center which serves approximately 150 patients. This acquisition further strengthens DaVita's presence in southeastern Michigan and will continue to provide quality care to its patients.

DaVita also acquired a center from East Georgia Regional Dialysis, LLC, in Statesboro, Georgia. This center serves approximately 60 patients and complements DaVita's existing center in Statesboro. James Bazemore, MD, is serving as...
