Researchers' findings advance HIV/AIDS pathogenesis research

Investigators in the United States have published new HIV/AIDS pathogenesis data.

Study 1: RNA helicase DDX1 is involved in restricted HIV-1 Rev function in astrocytes.

According to recently published research from the United Stated, "Productive infection by human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) in the central nervous system (CNS) involves mainly macrophages and microglial cells.
