Docetaxel plus cisplatin was used as a second-line combined therapy in patients with advanced gastric carcinoma.

"We conducted a pilot phase II study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of docetaxel and cisplatin as a combination second-line therapy for advanced gastric cancer. Between 2000 and 2003, 30 patients were enrolled into this study. Chemotherapy consisted of 60 mg/m2 of docetaxel followed by 60 mg/m2 of cisplatin," scientists in Japan reported.
