Cyclo-DfKRG peptide immobilization on titanium contributes to high adhesion of human osteoprogenitor cells when a phosphonate anchor is employed and increased differentiation when a thiol anchor is employed.

"This study takes place in the field of development of a bioactive surface of titanium alloys. In this paper, titanium was functionalized with cyclo-DfKRG peptide by coating or grafting using different anchors (thiol or phosphonate) as spacers between the surface and the peptide," researchers in France report.
