Technology firm, Albert Einstein College of Medicine sign license agreement

Spherix Incorporated (SPEX), a Maryland technology firm, announced that it has signed a license agreement with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York, covering certain medicinal uses of Naturlose.

Under its license, the BioSpherix Division of Spherix gains the rights to Naturlose-containing products and processes under development at Einstein that enhance storage lifetimes of medicinal proteins, including blood components; Spherix will pay royalties to Einstein on sales of any forthcoming patented products or processes. Spherix will continue funding the Naturlose research at Einstein.
