Published in Blood Weekly, December 8th, 2005

A new Web-based resource, The Center for Biomarker Research, is available to help physicians and the public find the latest news and research on biomarkers, with a categorized and regularly updated selection of published clinical research on the subject.

The site already includes links to hundreds of articles from peer reviewed medical journals, as well as news and features on biomarkers from other information sources. Among the findings documented in the literature are the importance of biomarkers in identifying cardiovascular disease, early stage ovarian cancer, metabolic syndrome, and a variety of autoimmune diseases.
