High lipophilicity linked to improved performance in angiotensin II receptor blockers

High lipophilicity has been linked to improved performance in antihypertension drugs that target the angiotensin II receptor. "Although the lipophilicities of the various angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs) are very different, the relationship between lipophilicity and the protective effect against vascular remodeling is unclear," scientists in Japan explained.
