Reports advance knowledge in leukemia research

Reports from Sweden, Greece and Italy highlight recent research on leukemia. Study 1: The pathogenesis and therapy of acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) were examined. According to recent research published in the journal Leukemia, "AML is characterized by the accumulation of immature cells due to disturbed differentiation and proliferation of the myeloid lineage.
