DialGuard with ClarEtox efficiently removes bacterial contamination from water and dialysate

The ClarEtox resin can be used with the DialGuard medical device (Clarigen, Carlsbad, CA) to efficiently remove bacterial contamination from dialysis water.

"Live bacteria shed endotoxin or lipopolysaccharide (LPS), and dead bacteria release large amounts of LPS during disintegration of their cell walls. Water is a major source of bacterial contamination in dialysis," physicians in California explained.
