There is a high cure rate of isolated central nervous system relapse by allogeneic stem cell transplantation in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

According to recent research from Japan, "The prognosis of patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and central nervous system (CNS) relapse has historically been very poor.
