Myocardial infarction recovery is enhanced by estradiol

According to recently published research from the United States, myocardial infarction (MI) recovery is enhanced by estradiol by augmenting incorporation of bone marrow (BM)-derived endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) into sites of ischemia-induced neovascularization via endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS)-mediated activation of mat.
