Studies from Turkey, Belgium and the United States have provided new information about angiology

New angiology findings from Turkey, Belgium and the United States detailed.

Study 1: New investigation results, "Preconditioning effects of peroxynitrite in the rat lung," are detailed in a study published in Pharmacological Research. "Ischaemic preconditioning of the lung leads to a protective effect against ischaemia-reperfusion injury, but the underlying mechanisms of this protection are not well documented in the lung. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of endogenous and exogenous peroxynitrite (ONOO(-)) in preconditioning of isolated rat lungs," scientists in Ankara, Turkey report.
