Eclipsys PowerBANK Enterprise Edition Receives 510K Clearance from the Food and Drug Administration, Solution Now Generally Available in the United States

Eclipsys Corporation(R) (NASDAQ:ECLP), The Outcomes Company(R), announced that PowerBANK Enterprise Edition recently received 510K Clearance from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), meaning that it may be marketed for use by hospitals in the United States. PowerBANK Enterprise Edition is Eclipsys' solution for automating the functions of a hospital's blood bank and is a component of Eclipsys Sunrise Laboratory, a laboratory information solution (LIS) that helps increase productivity and decrease costs, providing efficient workflow and data management.
