Research from South Manchester University, Department of Surgery provides new data about thromboembolism therapy

Scientists discuss in "Prevention of venous thromboembolism in surgical patients with breast cancer" new findings in thromboembolism. According to a study from Manchester, the United Kingdom, "No randomized trial has yet studied venous thromboembolism (VTE) prophylaxis in patients undergoing surgery for breast cancer. Relevant articles were identified using Medline searches."
