Research from Kagawa University has provided new information about non-hodgkin lymphoma

"'A 75-year-old man was admitted with jaundice. His serum bilirubin level was 9.3 mg/dL, and a computed tomography (CT) revealed a mass without any enhancement in the head of the pancreas with dilated pancreatic and bile duct (Fig. I)," scientists in Miki, Japan report.

"Direct cholangiography revealed a complete obstruction of the common bile duct (Fig. 2). The serum levels of CEA and CA19-9 were both normal. The white blood cell count was 1700/pL, and hemoglobin level was 8.5 g/dL. A cytological analysis of the bile demonstrated class III.
