Fresh data on hematopoiesis are presented in the report 'Differential contributions of haematopoietic stem cells to foetal and adult haematopoiesis: insights from functional analysis of transcriptional regulators.' "An increasing number of molecules have been identified as candidate regulators of stem cell fates through their involvement in leukaemia or via post-genomic gene discovery approaches.
