Blood Management Awareness Week is an effort to educate patients and healthcare professionals about blood management and blood issues.

Founded in 2001, SABM is an educational organization comprised of medical and scientific practitioners dedicated to improving patient outcomes through optimal blood management and strategies to reduce or avoid blood transfusions.
