Investigators at National Taiwan University, Department of Internal Medicine publish new data on diabetes

Data detailed in 'Effect of parental hypertension and/or parental diabetes on hypertension in Taiwanese diabetic patients' have been presented. According to a study from Taipei, Taiwan, "Both type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and hypertension aggregate in families. It is a common thought that diabetic patients with parental diabetes and/or parental hypertension are more likely to develop hypertension."
