Investigators publish new data in the report 'Inhaled iloprost for hepatopulmonary syndrome: improvement of hypoxemia.' "Hepatopulmonary syndrome is characterized by advanced liver disease, hypoxemia, and intrapulmonary shunting. The only reported curative option is orthotopic liver transplantation," investigators in Leipzig, Germany report.
