Study results from Baylor College of Medicine in the area of cholangio cancer published

Current study results from the report, 'Outcomes analysis for 280 patients with cholangiocarcinoma treated with liver transplantation over an 18-year period,' have been published. According to recent research published in the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, "Cholangiocarcinoma is an aggressive malignancy with 5-year survival rates <15%. Selected patients present with localized but unresectable disease and are candidates for orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT)."
