Reports from National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology highlight recent research in stem cell research

Current study results from the report, 'Forced expression of Sox2 or Nanog in human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells maintains their expansion and differentiation capabilities,' have been published. According to recent research from Amagasaki, Japan, "Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from human bone marrow have capability to differentiate into cells of mesenchymal lineage. The cells have already been applied in various clinical situations because of their expansion and differentiation capabilities."
