New aortic dissection data have been reported by G. Sodeck and co-authors

According to recent research from Vienna, Austria, " Acute Stanford type A aortic dissection (AAD) is associated with substantial perioperative mortality and morbidity. N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) is a prognostic biomarker of outcome in cardiovascular disease."
