Scientists at GlaxoSmithKline describe research in prostate-specific antigen

According to recent research published in the Journal of Urology, "Dutasteride and finasteride are 5 alpha-reductase inhibitors that dramatically decrease serum levels of dihydrotestosterone. Because androgens affect bone, lipids, hematopoiesis, prostate and sexual function, we determined the impact of 5 alpha-reductase inhibitors on these end points."
