Researchers at Kyushu University publish new data on angiogenesis

A new study, 'Heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor promotes transcoelomic metastasis in ovarian cancer through epithelial-mesenchymal transition,' is now available. According to recent research published in the journal Molecular Cancer Therapeutics, "Heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor (HB-EGF) is involved in several biological processes including cell adhesion, invasion, and angiogenesis. HB-EGF also plays a pivotal role in the progression of ovarian cancer."
