Studies from University of Pennsylvania, Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute have provided new data on life sciences

Current study results from the report, 'Post-transplant adoptive T-cell immunotherapy,' have been published. "Immune reconstitution following haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (SCT) is an often slow and incomplete process that leads to increased risk of infection and malignant disease. Immunization in SCT is frequently unsuccessful due to the prolonged lymphopenia, especially of CD4 T cells, seen following transplant," scientists writing in the journal Bailliere's Best Practice and Research In Clinical Haematology report.
