Allergan, Inc. Announces Nationwide Availability of ACZONE® Gel 5%

Allergan Inc. (NYSE: AGN) announced the nationwide availability of ACZONE® (dapsone) Gel 5%, a new, first-in-class topical treatment for inflammatory acne.Representing the first new molecule in a decade approved by the FDA for the topical treatment of acne, ACZONE® Gel 5% utilizes dapsone in a well-tolerated topical formulation to provide patients with a convenient and effective therapy.

In addition, with ACZONE® Gel 5%, visible results may be seen in as early as two weeks, with rapid, clinically significant reduction in inflammatory lesions reported in two large, pivotal studies, 24 percent reduction at two weeks and 35 percent at four weeks. Comparatively, results...
