Findings from Baskent University, Medical Department provide new insights into hemophilia

According to recent research published in the journal Urology, "Intramural renal pelvic and ureteral hemorrhage is seen most commonly in patients treated with anticoagulant therapy."

"However, spontaneous intramural hemorrhage of the ureter seen in patients with hemophilia is a rare entity and has been reported only in 2 cases. Computed tomography is a valuable imaging method in the diagnosis and follow-up," wrote I. Kirbas and colleagues, Baskent University, Medical Department.
