According to recent research published in the Scandinavian Journal of Work Environment & Health, "The aim of this communication was to report the overall incidence of cancer in a cohort of male Norwegian offshore oil workers. The Offshore Cohort was comprised of >25 000 men who were employed at installations in the North Sea in the period 1965-1999, and who responded to a questionnaire that included work history offshore, other occupational experience, education, leisure-time activities, and lifestyle factors."
